Core rules

    Children never handle loose cells; the battery stays in its case.

    Charge under supervision on a heat-resistant surface.

Storage

    Store at room temperature, away from direct sunlight.

  2. 2

    If it will sit unused for a while, store it half charged.

Damaged batteries

  1. 1

    A swollen, hot, or smelly battery: stop using it.

  2. 2

    Move it into a metal container with sand, then contact us.
